I love learning about the developmental stages! This class was like a refresher course for me due to nursing! Take your time on this class and appreciate the way Sophia Learning has it laid out to not only learn the material but also make it interesting!

I learned alot
by Stephanie C. on May 17, 2025
The touchstones for each unit and then having to pretty much fill out that same information for the final touchstone was very frustrating from a time standpoint. It would be better if there was one worksheet for the entire course instead of having to fill out several separate worksheets and then putting the same information on another final worksheet. I feel like taking screenshots and describing each item was also very cumbersome. While design principles are important and that as a learner I needed to show what I learned in the class, you could clearly see my website functioned correctly. Also there needs to be more specific instructions. I felt very frustrated adding all of my java into the website and then reading over the sample template and seeing that there was input validation was VERY frustrating for me. I know it's intuitive to add it, but if you're going off of what a client is asking for, those specifics need to be outlined just like they would be in project requirements.
